Stephen A Kirk, CEO
In addition to being CEO of SKCI, Stephen Kirk is the Board Chair of a number of ESG and sustainability analytics & certification companies. In these roles he specialises in helping companies develop strategies that use technology to transform business models, drive sustainable growth and improve ESG performance.
Previous experience has included growing and then selling a successful technology test and certification business and building a $350 million technology business for UL (Underwriters Laboratories) – a diversified US based testing and certification company.
Stephen has specific experience and expertise in developing strategies to address ESG, climate change and sustainability.
Dickon Leigh-Wood, ESG Consultant
Dickon has expertise in multiple areas of sustainability & ESG, including anaerobic Digestion, waste management, circular economy, carbon measurement, net zero ambitions and innovative sustainable solutions.
Dickon completed a Post Graduate degree in Sustainable Business Leadership at the University of Cambridge and achieved a BSc in Environmental Biology from Newcastle University.
He is deeply passionate about the environment and believes that all organisations can make simple changes to achieve hugely positive impacts for the planet. He has worked with a range of SMEs, supporting them in their mission to become environmentally, socially and financially sustainable.
Gemma Ford, Marketing & Communications
Gemma has 20 years' experience in marketing & communications across a wide spectrum of industries, she currently specialises in global B2B marketing strategy & implementation.
Gemma supports SKCI, and its clients, to communicate authentically and effectively with their target audiences. In business, as in life, nurturing relationships is essential and great communication is key.
As a business owner, entrepreneur and Psychology graduate, Gemma has deep insight into what SMEs need to achieve sustainable growth.
Natalie Bird, EA
Natalie has been EA to Stephen Kirk at SKCI since 2017, providing full secretarial and administration support across the organization.
Previously, Natalie enjoyed working for a FTSE 10 company for 27 years.
